The hard drives turn out to be an integral aspect of Katie’s investigation. Nonetheless, a menacing figure commences to shadow Katie with the intent of stealing the hard drives, which hold the vital clues necessary in identifying the murderer.  Flashbacks to 17th-century India chronicle the genesis of the killer’s techniques and why he is bent on dismemberment of his victims.
